Brochure accompanying the retrospective Tony Smith: Architect, Painter, Sculptor organized by MoMA in 1998. This newsprint publication, which was available at the entrance to the exhibition and elsewhere, introduced Smith’s work while serving as a resource to an important section of the exhibition called Tony Smith: In the City. In the City was the first-ever collaboration between MoMA and the Public Art Fund, presenting several large-scale sculptures temporarily installed in New York City.
